This section shares insight about current artists and their work, with an emphasis on creators fashioning dark aesthetics (in horror, dark fantasy, and the like). As with everything else on this site, nobody’s getting paid to write or relay anything that’s here… or if someone is, um, where’s my piece of the action?

Note that a “spotlight” usually combines an interview with a review. I only review works I like; my goal is to point out likable qualities. I like many more works than I review. I review when I have both extra time and inspiration, which means I do so rarely.
